What the app is
Bickford Basketball Manager helps a youth basketball coach run a team: schedule, roster, attendance, snack sign-ups, team updates, practice plans and playing-time rotations. There are no user accounts. A coach creates a team and shares a team code with families.
What we store
- Team details the coach enters: team name, division, usual gym, and optionally the coach's name, phone and email, which are shown to families on that team.
- Roster: player names as the coach enters them. We ask coaches to use first name and last initial only.
- Schedule and team activity: practices, games, locations, attendance answers ("coming" or "can't make it"), snack sign-ups (a family name), and updates the coach posts.
- Reports: anything you send with "Report a problem."
- Abuse prevention: the network address that creates a team, kept for one day to limit how many teams can be created.
We do not collect contact lists, location, photos, health information, advertising IDs or payment details. There are no ads and no third-party analytics or tracking. We never sell or share data.
Who can see it
Only people with a team's code can see that team. The coach key (given only to the coach) is needed to change the team. Calendar subscription links show the team's schedule to anyone who has the link.
Reminders
Practice and game reminders are scheduled on your own device or in your own calendar app. We do not send push notifications, emails or texts.
Keeping and deleting data
Team data is kept until the coach deletes the team (Settings, then Delete team), which removes the roster, schedule, attendance, sign-ups and updates right away. A coach can remove any player, event or update at any time. To ask us to delete anything, email the address below.
Children
The app is meant for coaches and parents. It is not directed to children, and we ask coaches not to enter children's full names or any other details about them.
Where data lives
Data is stored with Cloudflare in the United States and sent over encrypted connections.
